"I ended up changing the multimedia aspect of my project. I had planned to make a PowerPoint and overlay audio over it, but I wanted to explore other modes of presentation after hearing the project drafts of my classmates. I’m happy I made this change because I can see myself using this skill in the future.

I also learned how to make an academic presentation in Russian. Before taking this class, I only spoke Russian with my family at home and even then, I tended to use a mix of Russian and English in daily conversations. This class and especially this project helped me practice my public speaking skills in a language that I’m not fully comfortable giving an academic presentation."
